This release continues to improve usability, readability, ensure brand consistency, and streamline communication with providers. Additionally, we have done work to improve compliance, data integrity operational clarity. Users can now assign a single provider to multiple patient relationship types, and several issues affecting validation, layout, and processing have been resolved for a smoother, more consistent experience.
Key Enhancements
- We’ve improved the Previous Lab Results printout to provide a cleaner, more professional layout and easier sharing options.
- Facility names are updated to align with current naming conventions:
- Print button has been added to the Clinic Schedule screen for Summit Cancer Centers.
This enhancement allows clinic staff to easily print the schedule exactly as they see it on screen — including any selected filters or view options. When selected, the printout automatically reflects the current view and filters chosen by the user.
The layout mirrors the on-screen format for consistency and ease of review.
To strengthen data privacy and ensure users only see information relevant to their work, we’ve introduced new access controls that limit visibility to assigned patient groups within Summit Cancer Centers.
This enhancement ensures that users can only view and interact with patients they are directly responsible for, improving both data integrity and compliance.
A new configuration option that allows note templates to be separated by specialty
This ensures that providers and scribes at specific clinics can see only the note edits and templates relevant to their specific clinical area.
An automated task trigger that immediately notifies Financial Counselors when a new drug is added to an active patient plan within Interventions.
This helps ensure timely re-authorization of medications, helping prevent delays in patient treatment and reducing administrative follow-up.
- The MAR data tag has been enhanced to include user attribution for medication start/stop events:
- When a medication administration is started, the system now records and displays the initiating user.
- When a medication administration is stopped/discontinued, the system records and displays the user responsible.
- Display formatting adjusted to ensure this information is visible without clutter or misalignment (optimized line wrapping to prevent spillover).
- We added retrospective entry and time editing capabilities for Research Vitals, allowing clinical research teams to accurately record and adjust multiple vital sign entries for a single Date of Service (DOS).
We added a Metric Toggle feature within the Vitals screen, allowing users to easily switch between U.S. customary (English) and Metric units for clinical data.
An update that enables Summit Cancer Centers (SCC) patients to securely access their lab results and approved clinical documents through the Patient Mobile portal (v1).
The enhancement ensures SCC’s mobile experience is aligned with other VieCure clients, while maintaining appropriate exclusions for confidential note types.
A new Print button has been added directly to the Clinic Schedule screen, enabling users to print the schedule exactly as it appears on screen.
One-Click Print Access: A dedicated Print button now appears on the Clinic Schedule toolbar.
View-Accurate Output: The printed report automatically reflects the user’s current on-screen view — including all selected filters, dates, and layout options.
Patient Grouping: Patients with multiple encounters on the same day appear grouped together in a clean, consolidated format for easier review.
An update of how Facility and Location data is displayed and edited within Resource Management.
Persistent Slot Size Setting: Time slot lengths (e.g., 15-minute intervals) now save and retain correctly without reverting to 5 minutes.
Improved Usability: The “clock” icon on the schedule allows users to cycle through slot size options (5 → 10 → 15 → 20 → 30 → 60 minutes) with immediate visual feedback.

Defect Resolutions
A recent update resolves an issue that prevented users from scheduling patient appointments when the appointment block size exceeded 5 minutes.
This fix ensures that scheduling functions correctly across all block size configurations.
An update resolved issues where Prior Authorizations were not consistently appearing in the authorization queue as expected.
The enhancement ensures Financial Counselors can rely on the queue to capture all authorizations without manual workarounds or schedule audits.
A hotfix was applied to resolve an issue that caused intermittent error messages (“toasters”) to appear when users attempted to start a treatment plan.
