New Features & Enhancements
1. USCDIv3 Regulatory Compliance
VieCure continues its advancement toward full ONC Cures Act / USCDIv3 certification. The following data elements are now captured, structured, and exchangeable in compliance with interoperability requirements:
- Encounter Location Data — Encounter location is now captured and exchanged per USCDIv3 requirements.
- SDOH Assessment Panel — Social Determinants of Health assessment panel data is now structured and interoperable.
- Referrals Data — Reason for Referral is captured and represented in C-CDA per USCDIv3 Care Coordination requirements.
- Insurance | Coverage Type — Insurance coverage type is now collected and surfaced in alignment with USCDIv3 and regulatory expectations.
- Disability Status — Disability status is captured via an updated UX and included in interoperability data outputs.
- Functional Status — Functional status assessments are structured and exchangeable per USCDIv3 requirements.
- Mental Status — Mental status data elements are captured and represented in compliance with USCDIv3.
- Laboratory Data — Laboratory data is structured and exchanged per USCDIv3 requirements.
- Medication Dispensing Data — UX — Updated UX captures and displays medication dispensing data including coded indications, aligned with USCDIv3 C-CDA output standards.
2. Surescripts Integration
Surescripts Integration
VieCure introduces a new integration with Surescripts providing the ability to obtain 12 months of patient medication history and receive pharmacy-initiated renewal orders
- Medication History Request – Clinicians can request patient medication history via a button on the Medication/DME tab of the HPI|EMR section of the patient’s chart.
- Medication/DME Display Updates – A new section has been added to display the medication history provided by Surescripts. These records will be included in the Medication Reconciliation process and updated accordingly.
- Renewal requests – When Surescripts transmits a pharmacy-initiated renewal request, the system automatically generates a worklist task notifying and allowing the prescriber to review and accept or deny the request. Viecure will update the patient’s order history and send a reply to the pharmacy.

3. Plan Attributes & Decision Support
Expanded support for adaptive protocol intelligence with new plan attribute types and rule conditions:
- New Plan Attribute: Disease Context — A new configurable plan attribute category allows treatment plans to be classified by disease context. Available as a multi-select filter on the plan selection page and usable within clinical rule logic.
- New Plan Attribute: Plan Duration — A new configurable plan attribute category allows plans to be classified by therapy duration type (e.g., fixed duration, response-guided). Supports multi-select and rule condition integration.
- New Rule Condition: Plan Attribute — A new rule condition type enables rule authors to trigger logic based on attributes assigned to a patient's plan instance, supporting all current and future plan attribute categories.
- Clinical Education Addenda — Plan considerations can now embed clinical education addenda directly within the treatment plan workflow, enabling context-specific guidance at the point of care.
