Worklist Management
This guide walks through the Worklist, covering how to set and customize views—including your default—and how each screen element functions. It explains task statuses, how to create and add new tasks, and the different automated task types available. By the end, you'll understand how to navigate views, read the screen layout, manage task statuses, and set up both manual and automated tasks efficiently.
Setting Views
- All Tasks – displays all organizational level tasks. This will be the default view until a custom view is saved.
- My Tasks – shows you any tasks that are assigned to you or tasks assigned to your Care Group.
- Save Current View – allows user to save a custom view and set as default. The user can create multiple custom views using filters.
- Configure Columns – allow the user to customize which columns are visible.
- List View – displays all tasks ordered by Order Date
- Group View – displays all tasks grouped by Task Type
Tasks Filter Bar
- Tasks can be filtered by:
- Task ID
- Type
- Priority
- Sub-Type
- Target Date
- Assignee
- Status
- Facility
- Creator
- Order Date
- Sub-task Details
- Patient
- Task Details
- Task Instructions
- Actions – allows the user to view tasks and complete varying options depending on Task Type.

Creating/Adding a Task
- Add Task - Quickly add a manual task for any patient using this button at the top of your screen. This option persists throughout the platform for efficient tasking.
- Required Fields include:
- Task description
- Sub-type
- Priority
- Assigned
- Adding a task from a patient chart will default to being associated to that patient
- Required Fields include:
Automated Task Types
- Automated Tasks – certain tasks are created automatically to improve workflow efficiency
- Automated Task Types include certain aspects of:
- Scheduling (appointment scheduled with provider, referral order approved, patient requests a cancellation)
- Documents (unacknowledged/overdue)
- Notes
- Orders (ad-hoc order placed outside of treatment plan, provider approval needed
- Labs (results to review)
- E-Prescribe
- Faxes (outbound fax failure)
- Patient Messages (questionnaire submitted via patient mobile, patient sends a message)
- Financial Review
- Other (patient weight change, patient marked deceased)
