| ABOUT THIS RELEASE | Release 3.4.19.2 delivers significant improvements to Charge Capture billing accuracy, Surescripts eRx workflows, Treatment Plan dose display, and Mosaiq radiation integration. This document summarizes all changes visible to end users. |
Enhancements
ENHANCEMENT Surescripts — Eligibility Variance Notification
When Surescripts reports a change in patient identifying information on an eligibility response, VieCure now automatically creates a task in the Quickview worklist to alert staff.
- Task is created when Surescripts flags a discrepancy in patient demographics (name, date of birth, address, gender, or insurance)
- Staff can view the incoming Surescripts data side-by-side with the patient’s current record to determine whether an update is needed
- Available actions: View discrepancy details, Send updated information, or Dismiss the notification
- A site-level setting is available to suppress these notifications if preferred
ENHANCEMENT Surescripts — Improved Refill Approval Order History
When a provider approves a pharmacy-initiated refill request, the order record in Order History now displays more complete and consistent information.
- Cart source now correctly identified as ‘Rx’ with the pharmacy icon
- Rx Dose and Dispense Dose now display with the correct unit of measure
- The original diagnosis from the prior order is carried forward to the refill record
- Item status automatically updates to ‘Pharmacy Received’ once accepted by Surescripts
- Voiding the order now correctly sends a cancellation request to Surescripts
Bug Fixes
BUG FIX Charge Capture — Chemotherapy Administration Billing Corrections
A series of issues affecting automated charge code generation at encounter close have been identified and resolved. These corrections ensure accurate CPT code selection, quantities, and billing hierarchy in compliance with CMS NCCI 2026 and Medicare guidelines.
- Billing hierarchy is now correctly enforced: Chemotherapy takes priority over Therapeutic/Prophylactic/Diagnostic (TPD) drugs, which take priority over Hydration; Infusion takes priority over Push, which takes priority over Injection
- Hydration add-on code: Now generates correctly when hydration runs independently for more than 30 minutes during encounters that also include chemotherapy or other medications. Only the time hydration ran without concurrent drugs counts toward the threshold
- Concurrent vs. sequential supportive drug coding: Corrected code assignment and quantity calculations for encounters involving multiple supportive care drugs running concurrently or sequentially alongside chemotherapy
- Additional chemotherapy drug coding: Resolved a scenario where quantity was underreported for encounters with multiple sequential chemotherapy drugs
- Resolved an error that prevented charge generation from completing in certain encounter configurations involving specific drug combinations
- Resolved an intermittent error message that appeared when navigating from the MAR to the Charge Capture page. This error did not affect charge generation
BUG FIX Treatment Plans — Rx Dose Display Corrections
Two related issues affecting how the Rx Dose field displays within treatment plans have been resolved:
- Rx Dose Unit of Measure (UOM) now correctly reflects the UOM assigned in the treatment plan when a specific cycle or day is selected, rather than defaulting to the system-configured UOM
- When opening the drug edit screen within a treatment plan, the Rx dose field now displays the correct plan-assigned dose regardless of whether a specific treatment day is selected. Previously, an incorrect dose from a prior plan version was shown until the user clicked into a specific treatment day — this also impacted external reporting (e.g., NCCN PowerBI dashboard)
BUG FIX Surescripts — eRx Task Generation Corrected
Resolved an issue where RxFill confirmation messages from Surescripts were incorrectly creating tasks in the Quickview worklist, generating unnecessary work items for clinic staff.
- The worklist now only creates tasks for eRx Refill Requests (RxRenewalRequest) and Change Requests (RxChangeRequest)
- Confirmation messages, cancellation responses, and other Surescripts message types no longer generate tasks
BUG FIX Mosaiq Integration — Radiation Prescription Last Treatment Date
Resolved an issue affecting clients integrated with MOSAIQ for radiation oncology. When MOSAIQ sent a treatment date update for a specific radiation prescription via ZTX segment, the Last Treatment Date was incorrectly applied to all radiation prescriptions on the patient rather than only the one referenced in the update.
- Each radiation prescription now independently tracks its own Last Treatment Date
- Completed courses of treatment will no longer have their Last Treatment Date overwritten by updates to an ongoing course
- Improves downstream reporting accuracy for patients receiving treatment to multiple body sites
